At Wakerley Carols we're thrilled to showcase local talent and involve internationally recognised performers in this iconic community celebration.

Gregory Scanlan

We're delighted to announce that Gregory Scanlan will be performing at Wakerley Carols 2017.

A Brisbane-based professional dramatic Tenor, Gregory has performed in prestigious venues across Australia and Europe. He recently returned from a successful tour and competitions in Poland and France (winning 1st place in the world choral competition in Poland) and presently sings as lead Tenor with premier early music chamber ensemble, Canticum. 

Gregory is also a contracted soloist for the Brisbane Chorale and the QLD Russian Orthodox Choir, and is the incumbent Choir Director at the Holy Annunciation Orthodox Church, Brisbane.

Ashleigh Denning

Ashleigh Denning is an actor, model, musician and dancer.

Of Ukrainian descent, Ashleigh's first music lessons began at the age of nine, when she predominantly learned jazz and musical theatre. She then went on to study classical music in secondary school and has now completed fourth year Classical and Singing Vocal exams with the Australian Music Examinations Board.

Ashleigh is currently completing her Master of Music Studies. Her dream is to perform at one of London's leading West-End theatres.

Georgia Morton

We're delighted to announce that Georgia Morton will be performing at Wakerley Carols 2017.

Mentored by Australia's own Soprano, Mirusia, Georgia is a member ofVocal Manoeuvres Academy and appears courtesy of #Mirusia Productions.

Leah Lever

We're delighted to announce that Leah Lever will be performing some very special Christmas songs atWakerley Carols 2017 and will also be signing copies of her CD "Dreamcatcher" after her performance. Don't miss this opportunity to hear Redland's Young Citizen for the Year 2017 perfoming live and local!

Momentum Choir

We're delighted to announce that Momentum will be performing at Wakerley Carols 2017 this Saturday.

Established in 2013, this mixed voice choir sing four part harmony - soprano, alto, tenor and bass - to a keyboard accompaniment.
